The genesis of Diamond Cutter began in the mid-1980s as Rana Walker worked with adolescents, university students and young professionals using a holistic approach to mind, body and spirit. She began to formulate and informally apply a holistic lifestyle model. Her experiential research at luxury spas, fitness and wellness centers and spiritual retreats in the United States, South America, Europe and the Caribbean further revealed the need for Diamond Cutter and its unique lifestyle approach.
The roots of Diamond Cutter are deeply embedded in the Walker family, where its tradition has been to assist friends, family and acquaintances in their personal, mental and spiritual development. This tradition — coupled with the Walker family entrepreneurial spirit and moral/ethical values — is the foundation for a distinctive wellness company.
